Sharm el-Sheikh

Sharm el-Sheik is the major goal for all tourists that decide to move to Egypt. It is located in the south part of the Sinai peninsula and is surrounded by the Red sea.
Sharm has an important administrative function and since the end of the 90s it hosted very important international conferences and meetings.
The city of Sharm el-Sheik is a big centre composed of residences and hotels. People from Sharm are mainly people from other parts of Egypt that work in those tourist places and stay in Sharm only for work reasons. But for the visitors of Sharm el-Sheik life is very different. Sharm offers any sort of hotel, water sports, shopping and entertainment. You can enjoy a night in the Casino, or in a night club, play golf or enjoy the wonderful water of the Red sea where you can go diving and snorkelling, windsurfing or doing other water sports. For more adventurer people a nice horse and camel ride, or a safari in the desert to enjoy all the nearby antiquities, first of all the ancient Pyramids and the Sphinx .
The main tourist center is Na'ama Beach with a lot of activities, it is located north of Sharm with plenty of hotels with their own private beach and all the amenities you need for a prefect holiday.
For sailors Sharm offers a tourist harbour called Sharm el-Moiya with accommodations for boats and a Yacht Club.
Sharm is a good place for shopping too, there you find shops with products from many parts of the world where you can buy jewellery, leather stuff, clothing, pottery or books.
