Myconos

Mykonos, the most famous island ofthe Cyclades archipelagos, is a mountainous and dry island but inspit of this it is considered as the most charming island of thearchipelagos. Because of the beautiful sea surrounding it, thewonderful beaches and the beauty of Myconos city.

The best months for visitng this townare June and July, when the wether is perfect, tourists are not toomany and everything is more enjoyable.

Myconos offers several Byzantinechurches located on the hills around the town or the church of the

Panaghia Paraporthiani, located in thequrter Kastro di Mykonos where you can enjoy a museum dedicated tothe popular art and the archaeological museum.

More interesting places are themonastery of Panaghia Tourliani, located close to Ano Mera; the ruins of Panormòs at Palio Kastro and the castle of Darga or the archaeological site close to Lino, Portes and Mavri Spilia.

For sports lovers the island offersseveral opportunities such as sub courses, or tennis,horse-riding.
