The Hotel Aviz and its Restaurant, are well known as they have been frequented by international famous personalities from 1930's to 1960's, names such as Maria Callas, Frank Sinatra and Calouste Gulbenkian.
The hotel at the moment is located in a newer building but the basic concept of the original hotel is still alive, the timeless style and hospitality, as well as a some of its original and priceless pieces of art, have all been maintained.

Open from 7.00 am in the morning to 1.00 am at night.
The hotel offers 70 rooms, including 14 Signature Suites, 17 Doubles, 28 Premium Singles and 11 Single Rooms.
All the rooms are equipped with a mini-bar, free safety deposit box,direct phone with voice mail, data port for Internet connection, cable TV, air-conditioning and a working desk.
The rooms are also equipped with a bathroom with a hairdryer, a bath robe and slippers.
With a long lasting history and now back to Lisbon’s city centre, the Aviz Restaurant is proud to be considered one of the top gourmet restaurants in Portugal. The restaurant offers intimate luxury and will, once again, serve dishes based on the recipes that earned the restaurant reputation.
The restaurant is open for breakfast from 7.00am until 10.30am, for lunch from 12.30am until 3.00pm and for dinner from 07.30pm until 10.30pm.
Located at the ground floor and next to the restaurant, our bar is the ideal place either for just an enjoyable relaxing moment, or to keep you updated with the daily newspapers, which you can always find there.
